Description

The front garden wall and railings at Gayles House date from the early 19th century. The wall is made of coursed stone that is more roughly dressed than the front of the house, and it features wrought-iron railings. The wall slopes down in stages from the left and forms a quadrant to the right. The railings have spiked bars. In front of the house's front door, there are two square piers with imposts and pyramidal caps.
