Description

The gate-piers located approximately 20 metres south of Swindon Hall Farmhouse date from the early 18th century and are constructed of ashlar. They feature square plinths and stand about 2.5 metres high, with recessed panels and a moulded cornice topped with ball and cushion finials. The right-hand pier has been rebuilt, likely around 1840, coinciding with the replacement of the earlier farmhouse with the current structure. The garden walls are not included in the listing.
