Description

A former barn, granary, and cart shed, likely dating from the 17th century, stands fifteen metres to the north east of Steeton Hall. The building is constructed from magnesian limestone with a stone slate roof. It is a two-storey, seven-bay barn, accompanied by single-story outshuts to the right and rear and, at the front to the left, a two-bay cart shed under a catslide roof. The ground floor features two entrances, both within quoined surrounds. On the first floor, steps lead to the granary entrance, and there are four square openings. The interior reveals a king post roof.
