Description

105, 109-119 and 123 Gowthorpe is a building complex dating from 1822. It is constructed of brown brick and features a hipped slate roof. The structure is two storeys high and surrounds three sides of a courtyard, with four bays on each side. The windows are casements with glazing bars. The front of the south side has a gable shaped like a pediment, which contains an oval ashlar plaque inscribed with "THESE HOUSES BUILT BY THE FEOFFEES [word obliterated] 1822". There is a round-arched passage entrance below the plaque.
