Description
The wall to the front of Maiden's Folly, along with its railings and gate, dates from the early 19th century. It is constructed from brick and cast iron. The low brick wall features a stone coping that supports railings made of iron, which have bars topped with pointed finials and more decorative standards. The gate matches this style and includes dog-bars. The gate posts are adorned with lilies at both the top and bottom, as well as ball finials. The wall extends towards the house on the right and increases in height. This structure is included for its group value.
