Description

Field House is an early 19th-century brick building situated on the south side of Ripon Canal Road. Constructed of brown brick, it features a hipped slate roof. The two-storey, three-bay facade has sash windows with glazing bars, each framed by channelled stucco voussoirs. The front door comprises six moulded panels, a semi-circular fanlight, and moulded imposts within a Tuscan surround. The side elevation incorporates two blind semi-circular arches and stone-paved steps that lead to a boarded first-floor door. A further door with six moulded panels is positioned beneath the steps.
