Description
No. 8 Bridge Street is a building from the 18th century or early 19th century, featuring two storeys made of coursed stone and a pantile roof that has one large modern dormer. The building has a coped gable end with a kneeler and two windows with lintels that do not have glazing bars. On the ground floor, there are two windows, one of which serves as a shop window. The entrance is a half-glazed modern door topped with a projecting triangular fanlight. There are brick stacks at both gable ends. This property is part of a group that includes Nos 1 and 2, formerly occupied by John Hague, the Rose Inn, Nos 5 to 8 in sequence, and the Masonic Hall.
