Description

This is a barn located approximately 15 meters south of Frosthwaite Farmhouse, dating from the 18th century, with a later lean-to addition on the northwest side. The barn features stone rubble walls with through stones and a graduated greenslate roof topped with a stone ridge. It has a central wagon door that is flanked by board doors and a small slate canopy above. To the right of the wagon door, there is a small window with pegged timber chamfered mullions, and a shippon door is located in the northeast gable.
