Description
The Nook is a house dating from the late 17th century that has been altered. It features painted roughcast walls and a slate roof, with two storeys and three bays. The windows are later 20th-century casements with painted rendered surrounds and projecting stone sills. To the left of the left-hand ground-floor window, the outline of a hoodmould from a blocked window can be seen in the roughcast. The central bay contains a door with a painted rendered surround and a hoodmould. There are chimneys with brick caps on both the left and right sides of the building. At the rear, there is an outshut and a gabled wing that includes a 2-light rebated and chamfered mullioned window on the ground floor.
