Description

A former farmhouse and barn, likely dating from the mid-18th century with an early 19th-century barn addition. The house is built of limestone rubble walls with flush sandstone quoins, now cement rendered, and has a graduated greenslate roof with roughcast chimney stacks. It is a two-storey, two-bay structure. A single-bay bank barn sits to the left, elevated slightly. The house features a central 20th-century door in a plain opening, and casement windows with glazing bars set in original painted stone surrounds. The barn includes an upper segmental-arched cart entrance reached by a sloping ramp, with slit vents on either side. A lower segmental-arched doorway to the left is now blocked.
