Description

Number 26 on Corn Market is an 18th-century building constructed from red sandstone ashlar. It features a cornice and long and short quoins, and stands three storeys tall. The building has an early 20th-century shop front and a segmental arched carriage entry with a keystone. Each upper floor has three double sash windows with plain architraves and no glazing bars. At the rear, there are remains of a 17th-century stone mullioned window.
