Description

Nos 3, 4 and 5, Corn Market, date from the early 19th century. They are constructed of red sandstone ashlar with quoins, and feature eaves supported by brackets. The building is three storeys high and contains three shop fronts. No. 3 has curved tops to the window panes, and a fanlight above the doorway. There are five sash windows on each of the upper floors; the first-floor windows are segmental-headed, all set within stone architraves. Panels are located between the upper floors.
