Description

The Druids Arms is a street terrace of small houses dating from the 18th century, located on Sandgate. The buildings are finished in scored stucco or pebbledash over stone and curve gently uphill. Number 22 is three storeys tall, while the other houses are two storeys. Most of the houses feature panelled doors and fanlights, but number 23 has a round-arched doorway with a keystone and imposts, as well as a segmental-headed carriage entry. Number 31 has had a door and window inserted in what was formerly a coach entrance. The windows are sash style, mostly without glazing bars.
