Description
The listing describes a large kitchen garden with walls on three sides, situated to the north-west of Newbiggin Hall. The garden was constructed in 1795, as indicated by a keystone above a central door. The walls, which are 15 feet high, are built of ashlar and taper towards the top, finished with angled copings. There are panelled doors set within rusticated door cases with segmental heads, located at the centre of the north wall and at the north end of the east and west walls. A ha-ha wall forms the southern boundary.
