Description

Tynefield House is an 18th-century building featuring an austere Neo-Classical design. Constructed from grey ashlar, it has a hipped slate roof and stands two storeys tall. The front of the house is stuccoed, while the rear wing is made of red sandstone. The entrance is round-arched and includes an ornamental fanlight. There are two sash windows on the ground floor and three on the upper floor, all with glazing bars and stone sills. The ground floor windows are slightly set back in segmental headed openings and feature tripartite sashes. A large central stack with eight flues in line is a dominant feature of the building.
