Description

The Lowther Arms, at Nos 3 and 4 Queen Street, is an early 19th century building of three storeys, rendered in scored stucco. The Lowther Arms has a panelled door with a fanlight, set within a chamfered stone architrave. It features a single sash window on each floor overlooking Queen Street, and two sash windows on each floor facing Brook Street. No. 4 Queen Street has a shop front and a yard entrance on the ground floor. The first floor has a 16-paned sash window, the second floor a similar window, and the top floor a narrow 8-paned sash.
