Description

Prince Albert House is an early 19th-century building, originally constructed as a workhouse. It is built of coloured scored stucco over stone, with blocked cornice eaves. The building is three storeys high. The ground floor originally contained shop windows and two doors, divided by pilasters, beneath a continuous fascia and cornice. The first floor has six sash windows, while the second floor has five sashes, all set within moulded architraves. The first-floor windows are further detailed with cornices supported by brackets.
