Description

Number 8 Middlegate is an 18th-century building featuring painted scored stucco and long and short quoins. It stands three storeys tall and has a rainwater head dated 1786, marked R.M.C. The small shop front includes a central door and a yard entry to the right. Each upper floor is adorned with two 12-paned sash windows set within chamfered stone architraves.
