Description
This is an early 18th-century building, originally comprising numbers 60 and 62 Stricklandgate, with number 61 later incorporated into the inn. Number 60 is the original section. The building is roughcast with a new slate roof. Number 60 bears the date "1716 SMS." It has two six-pane sash windows on the ground floor and three sashes on the upper floor, all set within plain stone architraves. The doorway has a moulded surround and a dated lintel, with a new door. Numbers 61 and 62 are also roughcast and feature quoins. They have a boarded door and a panelled door respectively, and three windows on each floor, all within plain stone architraves.
