Description
Lady Anne's Bee House is a Grade I listed building located in a copse to the north-east of the former stable block at Appleby Castle. It was built by Lady Anne Clifford in the mid-17th century. The structure is square and made of stone, standing on a bank above the river, and features a pyramid roof with two storeys. The lower level has a door, while the upper level is adorned with a pointed arched window on each of its three sides, and a door on the fourth side.
