Description

Cairn House is an early 19th-century house located on the east side of the A69 at Warwick Bridge. It is constructed of dressed sandstone with raised quoins and features a 20th-century tiled roof that includes flush skylights, along with 20th-century brick chimney stacks set on sandstone bases. The house is two storeys high and has three bays. The entrance consists of a panelled door topped by a glazed fanlight, framed by a reeded pilaster surround and a prostyle porch supported by Corinthian columns. The porch also has a plain entablature, a dentilled cornice, and a blocking course. The sash windows, which include glazing bars, are set within plain stone surrounds.
