Description
Nos 7 to 19 on Lonsdale Place, built in 1814, is a late Georgian and Regency terrace that creates an attractive group with varied details, remaining largely unspoilt. The buildings are finished in scored stucco and feature old slate roofs, standing two storeys high. They have panelled doors with fanlights, some of which are round arched and traceried. Many doors are adorned with moulded architraves or fluted pilasters, while Nos 7 and 8 showcase broken pediments. All properties have sash windows; Nos 7 and 12 retain small panes, whereas the others have had their glazing bars removed. Nos 14 and 15 are larger, featuring central doorways and three windows, with No 15 also having a later porch. No 11 includes a segmental arched carriage entrance and a later two-storey bay window.
