Description

Wellington House, located at 11 Wellington Row, was built in 1814 and features Late Georgian architecture with Gothic details. The building is finished in stucco, with the main front being the gable end that faces up the hill. This gable forms a pediment and is adorned with a heavy cornice all around. At the top, there is a pointed arched Gothic traceried sash window. On the first floor, there are three 12-paned sash windows. The ground floor includes two 12-paned sash windows and a central door set within a Gothic arch, which is topped with a cornice. The return side of the building, which faces the street, has a high blocked basement and features two windows on each of its two storeys.
