Description

Brownrigg is a house dating from the late 18th century or early 19th century. It features Flemish bond brickwork set on a chamfered plinth, with V-jointed quoins and a Welsh slate roof. The building has two storeys and three bays. The entrance consists of a six-panel door beneath an intersecting-glazing-bar fanlight, all framed by a Tuscan open-pedimented doorcase. The windows are sash style with glazing bars, set in stone surrounds. There are single-storey outbuildings attached to the house, but these are not of special interest.
