Description

The Lawn is a house built in the late 18th century. It is constructed from coursed light grey sandstone rubble and features a Welsh slate roof with stone end chimney stacks. The building has two storeys and three bays. The 20th-century door is framed by a plain stone surround. The sash windows, which include glazing bars, are also framed by plain raised stone surrounds. The building has scrolled gutter brackets. The upper floor stonework is likely an addition to a single-storey cottage. The Lawn is listed partly for its group value with Garth House, which it is connected to by outbuildings under a common roof.
