Description

The boundary wall and railings in front of the Horse and Farrier public house were built in 1928 by Harry Redfern. The structure features a red sandstone wall with wrought-iron railings. The low wall is made of ashlar and has chamfered coping, ending on the left with a squared pier. There is a central gate opening and a side gate, both topped with speared railings and gates, which include an inn sign bracket at the angle. The side gate has a segmental-arched overthrow that is now fitted with an electric light. Additionally, the wall has an Ordnance Survey bench mark on it.
