Description

Church Farmhouse is a late 18th-century farmhouse located on the east side of The Square in Dalston. It is constructed from dressed red sandstone rubble, resting on a chamfered plinth, and features V-jointed quoins. The roof is made of graduated greenslate and has a coped gable with a kneeler on the right side. There is a brick and ashlar chimney stack. The building is two storeys high and consists of three bays. The front has a 20th-century door set in a painted stone architrave with a cornice above it. The windows are two-pane sashes, also framed in painted stone architraves.
