Description

The building is a house that was formerly the lodge to Brunstock House, constructed between 1827 and 1833 for George Saul, with a late 19th-century extension. It features snecked ashlar walls made of calciferous sandstone and a Welsh slate roof with a brick chimney stack. The structure is single storey and consists of four bays. A projecting gabled bay has decorative pinnacled bargeboards and a castellated canted bay window with a chamfered surround, although the mullion has been removed. It includes 2-pane casements and a wooden porch at the angle, which has diamond leaded lights. The extension to the left has windows with plain surrounds and smooth ashlar lintels, also featuring 2-pane casements.
