Description
Anns Hill is a house built in the mid-18th century. It features channelled reeded ashlar stonework, an eaves cornice, and V-jointed quoins set on a chamfered plinth. The roof is made of graduated greenslate, with coped gables and kneelers, and there are rendered chimney stacks. The house has two storeys and five bays. The entrance includes a panelled door with an overlight, all framed by a stone architrave. The sash windows, which mostly have broad glazing bars, are also set within stone architraves. The left side of the building has gabled projections that include an attic with a two-light window. There is a right mid-19th century extension and former stables, but these are not of particular interest.
