Description

Retreat is a row of three adjoining houses built in 1814, representing late Georgian architecture. The buildings are two storeys high and feature a cornice and parapet. Number 1 has a broken pediment above its round-arched doorway, while numbers 2 and 3 have Doric porches. Number 3 is finished with pebbledash. The upper floor of both numbers 2 and 3 has two windows each. Additionally, there is a square coach-house that is part of number 3, which includes a round "eye" and a pyramid roof.
