Description
The dovecote located in the churchyard north of the Church of St Kentigern is likely from the 17th century and is currently used as a store. It features whitewashed red sandstone walls topped with a greenslate roof that has sandstone hips. The structure is square and consists of a single storey. There is a plank door on the side in a plain, altered opening, and a stone shelf is positioned halfway up the front wall. The only other openings are the open gablets in the roof. The interior is believed to still have some boulins. Originally situated behind the vicarage and part of its garden, it is now within the extended 20th-century churchyard.
