Description
Dresden House is a house from the early to mid 19th century, located on King Street in Aspatria. It features painted stucco with angle pilasters and an eaves cornice, set on a chamfered plinth. The roof is hipped and covered with graduated greenslate, topped with 20th-century ridge tiles, and there are painted stucco chimney stacks. The building has two storeys and three bays. The entrance consists of a panelled door with a round-headed overlight, framed by a pilastered surround and set within a Doric doorcase. The windows are sash style, set in plain reveals. The house was once known as Balwinnom.
