Description

32 to 35 Scotch Street is a short terrace of houses built in the 19th century. The terrace consists of three storeys, finished in stucco and roughcast, and features a cornice. Number 35 has a plain architrave around its doorway, while the other houses have pediments. The houses have sash windows, with number 33 featuring double sashes, number 34 having two single sashes on each floor, and number 35 with one sash on each floor. Number 32 is the largest of the group, boasting three 12-paned sashes on each floor and a two-storey wing above the carriage entrance that separates it from number 31B. Together, numbers 31A, 31B, and 32 to 35 Scotch Street form a group with numbers 1 to 9 Albert Square.
