Description

No. 6 Paternoster Row is a house that has been converted into an office. It dates from the early 19th century and has undergone some later alterations. The building features Flemish bond brickwork with light headers and a Welsh slate roof topped with 19th-century brick chimney stacks. It is three storeys high and has two bays, following a double-depth plan. The shop front, which dates from the late 20th century, includes a right through-passage with a large panelled door, all beneath a continuous signboard. Above, there are sash windows set in brick reveals with stone sills and flat brick arches, while the second floor features 20th-century steel-framed casements in enlarged openings from the early 20th century. The interior has not been inspected.
