Description
The coach house adjoining No 37 on Main Street in Hensingham is a mid-19th century building. It stands at two storeys, although No 35 is lower than No 37. The exterior features scored stucco and an old slate roof. Nos 35 and 36 have a door with a fanlight, one sash window on the ground floor, and two sash windows above, all set within plain architraves. No 37 is more prominent, with a cornice and end pilaster strips, and has three windows on the upper floor. The coach house is attached to the right and is lower at two storeys, featuring a four-centre arched entrance. This building is part of a group that includes Nos 35 to 48 and Nos 81 to 99, along with Nos 4 to 8 Garden Villas.
