Description

Grove House and the former stables date from the late 18th century. The house features painted roughcast walls with V-jointed quoins and is topped by a graduated greenslate roof with carved kneelers. There are painted roughcast chimney stacks. The building is two storeys high and has two bays, with L-shaped former stables attached to the left side. The entrance has a panelled door with an overlight set in a painted stone architrave. The sash windows, which have glazing bars, are framed by painted stone surrounds. The former stables include plank doors and a loft doorway.
