Description

Bridge number 190 at Aynho Wharf is located on the Oxford to Birmingham canal and is reputed to have opened in 1790. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble with ironstone dressings. The bridge features a keystoned arch and has an iron plaque numbered 190. The walls on either side of the road are capped with squared ironstone, although they have been partly rebuilt.
