Description

This is an 18th-century wall made of squared coursed ironstone with ashlar coping. It features a 20th-century gateway with a concrete lintel at the right end. The lower section of the wall, located immediately to the left of the entrance to 'Poynings', was rebuilt in the 20th century and is not considered to have special architectural interest. The wall is part of the garden enclosure of the now-demolished Watford Court, which was taken down around 1974. It is included in the listing for its group value.
