Description
This is an 18th-century barn located approximately 3 meters northwest of the farmhouse at Little Hill Farm. It is constructed from coursed squared limestone and features a plain-tile half-hipped roof. The barn has eight bays and includes double-leaf opposed plank doors positioned to the left and right of the center, which are topped with wooden lintels. There are ventilation slits located in the center and at both the far left and far right ends of the barn. On either side of the doors, there are offset buttresses with ironstone coping. Inside, the barn has tie and collar beams supporting the principal rafters, along with two tiers of purlins.
