Description

The Gardeners House is a house dating from 1655, constructed from regularly coursed lias and limestone, topped with a thatched roof. It features a two-unit plan and is two stories high with a three-window range. The central entrance has a 20th-century half-glazed door set beneath a flat arch with a keystone. There are four three-light stone mullioned windows with leaded lights, along with one two-light window above the entrance. The house has ashlar gable parapets and kneelers, with brick stacks at each end. A limestone string course runs between the ground and first floor, with the datestone positioned above the entrance.
