Description
Nos. 6, 7, and 8 High Street are three houses built in the late 18th century. They are constructed from squared coursed lias and limestone, topped with a cedar shingle roof. Originally, each house had a one-unit plan and they stand two storeys tall. Together, they form a four-window range featuring 19th-century casements set under flat arches with keyblocks. There are two 19th-century doors in their original openings, placed symmetrically, each with plain heads and ashlar surrounds. The houses have brick stacks at the ridge and end. There is a 20th-century extension at the rear of No. 6. The interiors have not been inspected.
