Description

This chest tomb, dating from the late 18th century, is located approximately 6 meters south of the southeast corner of the chancel of the Church of St John the Evangelist in Whitfield. It is made of ironstone and features panelled sides with balustered corners. On the north side, there is an inscription commemorating someone named Watts, who died in 1793.
