Description

These are two buildings, numbers 34 and 36, located on the west side of Brackley Market Place. The northern range dates to the 19th century and has a three-story facade rendered in stucco. It features a dentilled cornice, a parapet, a rusticated ground floor, and rusticated quoins. There are two sash windows on each floor, set within stuccoed frames with keystones. The upper corners of these frames have decorative patterae. The southern range is older, dating to the 18th century, and is constructed of coursed rubble stone. It includes a carriageway with a rusticated, keystoned elliptical-headed archway. A moulded wood cornice sits below a Welsh slate roof. Brick chimneys rise from stone bases. The southern range also has two sash windows per floor, within plain stone keystoned frames.
