Description

This is a 17th-century dovecote, altered in the 19th century. It is located to the south of the Manor House. The dovecote is constructed of coursed squared limestone with an old plain-tile roof. A rectangular plank door is situated on the north side, protected by a timber lintel. Inside is a square central timber structure with a small plain-tile pyramidal roof. A string-course runs at a high level, and the wall above this is rendered. The interior is subdivided horizontally and contains a large number of roosting perches.
