Description
Mill House is a house from the early 19th century, with 20th-century alterations and extensions. It is built of coursed squared ironstone and features slate roofs and stone end stacks. The house has a double-depth plan and stands two storeys tall with an attic, presenting a three-window range. A large central stone porch, added in the 20th century, is a prominent feature. The building has 12-pane sash windows on both the ground and first floors, each with flat-arched heads. Notable architectural details include quoins, hollow-chamfered stone eaves, and stone-coped gables with kneelers. There are lunette windows in the gables at either end. Additionally, there are single-storey 20th-century extensions on both the left and right sides.
