Description

This is a pair of headstones located approximately 4 meters south of the chancel of the Church of St. Lawrence. They date from the late 17th century and early 18th century and are made of ironstone.

The headstone on the left features a square plaque framed by twisted columns, topped with a cherub's head and swags of drapery. It is dated 1694, but the inscription is weathered, and no name is visible. The headstone on the right has an oval plaque set in a deeply carved frame adorned with scrolls, draperies, and cherub's heads, and it is dated 1702.
