Description

The gatepier on the north side of the entrance to The Glebe dates from the 18th century and is constructed from limestone ashlar. It features a pier made of plain ashlar blocks, which has been crudely rebuilt. The gatepier is topped with a moulded entablature and a ball finial. It is one of a pair of gatepiers.
