Description
The building is a pair of stables and lodging constructed in the 17th century. It is made of squared uncoursed ironstone and features a stone slate roof with stone stacks. The structure is two storeys high and consists of four bays. The carriage entrance located in the right bay has a segmental stone arch with a keystone and a double plank door. There is a doorway in the second bay from the left that features a 4-centred stone arch and a square hood. On either side of the building, there are three-light stone mullioned windows with square hoods, and the first floor has three similar windows. The right bay includes an opening to the loft with a segmental head and square hood. To the right, there is a 17th-century extension built with similar materials but topped with a corrugated iron roof. This extension is two storeys high and consists of five bays, with blocked stone mullioned windows. The interior has not been inspected.
