Description

The Grand Union Canal Bridge is an early 19th century bridge located in Watford. It features a red and grey brick string course at the base of the parapet, with blue brick coping and a plain brick arch. The Grand Union Canal was authorized by an Act of Parliament in 1810, and the Watford section of the canal was completed around 1814.
