Description

This police station, located at No. 7 Banbury Road in Brackley, was built in 1851 and is designed in the Tudor style. The structure features squared rubble and ashlar, topped with a Welsh slated roof that has three gables—one on the left and two projecting in the center. There is a gabled dormer on the right side of the building. The police station is comprised of one and two storeys and has casement windows, most of which retain their geometrical glazing. These windows are adorned with stone mullions and transoms set in chamfered reveals, all under dripmoulds.
